1. What we publish
iStockVisual.com is a catalog of photos, illustrations, vectors, and 3D stills built for campaigns, product pages, presentations, and social posts. Listings are organized by media type (for example Photos), by topical category, and by the visible subject of each image. You can open a detail page for every asset: preview, color palette, generation prompt, similar images, and a download panel with size and format options.
Most Library Content is generated or prepared specifically for this site. Files are licensed, not sold, and a download does not transfer copyright. The sameContent License applies to every size: commercial and personal use are allowed, and attribution is required. Use credit equivalent toGenerated by iStockVisual.com. A link to the image page is preferred when the medium allows it.
2. How search and browsing work
Type a query, follow related keywords, or browse categories. Filters include orientation, colors matched to each image’s palette, excluded keywords, and sort order. Empty or thin result pages may be withheld from search engines; the public sitemap lists published asset pages, category hubs, tools, and core site pages.
Visual search lets you drop or pick a query photo. We upload that photo only to match it against the library (including color). Query photos are stored briefly and deleted after about one hour. They are not added to the public catalog. Details are in thePrivacy Policy.
3. Downloads
Every asset can be taken as JPG, PNG, WEBP, or SVG. Free members — including visitors with no account — can take 512 and 1K (1024 on the long edge).2K, 4K, and 8K need an active Pro plan or short pass. Filenames use the asset title, not a random code.
On the detail page you can also open the on-page editor (adjust, crop and flip, remove background, expand). Expand on library files is a Pro feature. Free editor exports stay on the 512 / 1K long-edge caps; Pro can work at the larger download tiers. Watermarks on the on-site preview are there to protect the catalog; they are not part of a completed download.
Paid HD downloads follow a fair-use rule: the first 100 high-resolution (2K / 4K / 8K) files each day are unrestricted; after that, 10 HD downloads per hour. Plans, trials, and refunds are on Pricing, the Terms of Use, and theRefund Policy.
4. In-browser studio
The Tools section is a local workshop. Files you choose from your computer stay in this tab unless a feature clearly uploads them (visual search is the exception). The public tools are:
- Image Editor — adjust, crop, remove background, and expand
- Image Convert — batch format, resize, and compress (including HEIC)
- Image Vectorizer — bitmap to SVG with color and path controls
- Social Resizer — Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn frames
- Batch Watermark — text or logo marks that scale with the long edge
- Palette Generator — extract swatches, copy HEX/RGB/HSL, export CSS or Tailwind
If you start from Library Content, the Content License and attribution still apply to that content and to recognizable derivatives. Outputs from your own photos remain yours.
5. Accounts and hosting
Email-and-password accounts are optional for free 512 / 1K downloads and required for Pro sizes. We host on Cloudflare. Account records live in Cloudflare D1. Library files and brief visual-search uploads live in Cloudflare R2. Theme preference stays in your browser. See theCookie Policy.
6. Support
The Help page has an on-site assistant for license, plans, tools, and privacy questions. For refunds or account issues, emailhello@istockvisual.com.
